The most obvious difference is that the romantic subplot (vampire cop guy and non-vampire girl) and the nonromantic subplot (shadowy organization trying to genocide vampires, who make up about .01% of the population) get roughly equal attention. The story may even be biased slightly towards the non-romantic plot. And the non-romantic plot is strong enough to stand on its own as a compelling story.Devil’s Line: Season 1 ended with Tsukasa saving Anzai’s life by giving him some of her blood. This event leads to Anzai learning more about Tsukasa, further deepening their relationship. Can’t wait to see where their relationship leads?
