There was so much that meets the eye when it came to these characters and knowing that there’s a darkness looming ahead, will make you literally eating out the palm of their hands in your quest to find answers. I saw evil in this story and I damn sure heard it so that saying needs to go sit in a corner right now and take a nap. This book is that perfect treat for all those dark romance junkies out there, who just cannot get enough of the depraved and the dubious morals; so if you are one of those, then I guess I cannot recommend this enough.

It's been a while since I've read something that had me all invested and anxiously anticipating the next course of actions. I really love the homework done for the Psychology based elements of this book as they were super well done and everything seemed to make sense. Tbh I didn't think I was gonna be into this just based on the fact that the antihero was incarcerated, cause I guess for me personally, fiction and romance wise it's just hard to respect a serial killer who got caught, yanno? I loved the way Grayson stroked London’s childhood history out of her and I loved her physical response to him. Throwback to that time last year when I'd gotten so good at folding paper swans that I'd managed to pretty perfectly fold this nano Swan that fit in the pads of my thumb. The story follows London, a smart and beautiful criminal psychologist who treats a convicted serial killer, Grayson. The pieces of the puzzle, the chemistry, the consequences, the unanswered questions have me moving onto book 2 ASAP! Born, Darkly" is a beautifully written dark romance that follows criminal psychologist London and her patient Grayson, a convicted serial killer.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. This man should’ve made me sick to my stomach with his past transgressions but there was so much more to him. I, for one, found myself hanging onto the bumper by my fingernails; sometimes having to cover my eyes, yet looking through my fingers for what was to come next. This goes to some seriously dark places and requires the reader to suspend what they believe about “healthy” relationships. This book wasn't super spicy, I'm hoping book 2 has a little bit more, but what was there was great! and summer has officially hit Mumbai and I'm slowly and steadily losing my mind from the heat and boredom. Before being transferred to a maximum security penitentiary, he decides to have therapy sessions with a criminal psychologist, London Noble, who would evaluate and diagnose him before his trial in three months, and speak on his behalf at the trial and advocate for leniency.
