Description

The packaging is a little clinical, it’s not inviting sitting there in your bathroom but let me tell you the results were fantastic!

Therefore, applying CeraVe products which contain 3 essential ceramides directly to the skin can help to protect it's barrier and retain moisture. CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser is a gentle gel-foam face wash that removes dirt, impurities and excess oils on blemish-prone/acne-prone skin. I have tried a lot in over the last 10 years or so as can say this definitely would be the best of the bunch. These ingredients work to penetrate the pores, eliminating the cause of spots and blemishes, whilst respecting the skin’s natural barrier. Along with a reduction in those under-the-skin baddies, I also noticed a reduction in the pesky blackheads I usually find around my nose and chin.If you do not update your preferences, we will assume that you are happy to receive amazing offers and news. It felt great on my skin and left my skin feeling nice and clean without stripping the oils or drying my skin out. Case in point: CeraVe’s blemish range, which offers an affordable answer to tackling blemishes and balancing acne-prone skin. I know that this cleanser has really helped with my battle against my acne, especially on my jawline as when I’ve used my balm cleanser on it’s own, it doesn’t do half as good a job as the Blemish Control Cleanser with it. Aqua/Water, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Glycerin, Niacinamide, Salicylic Acid, Gluconolactone, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Peg-150 Pentaerythrityl Tetrastearate, Ceramide Np, Ceramide Ap, Ceramide Eop, Carbomer, Calcium Gluconate, Triethyl Citrate, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Cholesterol, Tetrasodium Edta, Caprylyl Glycol, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Xanthan Gum, Hectorite, Phytosphingosine, Benzoic Acid.

It lathers up easily and leaves my face feels fresh and clean afterwards while seeing the blemishes fade after only a couple of applications. But based on my experience with products like this and the fact that Cerave tries to make gentle formulas, the Glycolic Acid should be between 5 – 7% and the Lactic Acid 5% – 3%. I was particularly excited to try this Blemish Control Cleanser as I still have acne into my thirties and keen to be rid of it! However soon after I noticed my face feeling tingly and very irritated, then began to become red, the following morning and days after I noticed my skin was peeling, dry and very sensitive to any of my normal products, so had to discontinue use.

I did find it gave me some uncomfortable tingling around the edges of my nose and mouth for a few seconds, but no noticeable redness. This product would be suitable for oily skin that breaks out, but not for dehydrated skin that breaks out - so it is important to know what the cause of the breakouts is from before deciding if this product is right for you. As I mentioned earlier, I used this product back to back for one week just to test its effectiveness, and I damaged my skin barrier in the process.I also recently bought the CeraVe Facial Moisturising Lotion PM 52ml when I *accidentally* impaired my barrier, which resulted in rough and red skin. It delivers results without compromising the health of your skin, containing three essential ceramides that do very good nourishing things to help support your all-important moisture barrier. I always take their CeraVe Daily Moisturising Lotion for dry skin with me on holidays as a body moisturiser, because it’s deeply nourishing but with a gel texture so it’s great for humid climates. As a person with combination skin, blemishes and spots are something you have to deal with on a weekly basis. com is an Introducer Appointed Representative of Pay4Later Limited, trading as Deko, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 728646).
