The Logitech's Romer-G and the Das Keyboard's Cherry MX Brown are both switches that provide tactile feedback, but the Romer-G has a shorter pre-travel and a lighter actuation force. The illumination, the gaming mode and macros for the function keys can be configured via the Logitech gaming software.

The Logitech G513 and the ROCCAT Pyro are wired gaming keyboards, but the Logitech has significantly lower latency. If you're after a control panel of keys, but don't want the heft and bulk associated with many gaming keyboards in this form factor, the G513 may be the answer to your prayers. While its on-paper specs aren't as impressive as a true speed demon like the Razer Huntsman V2, I was still able to maintain solid response times in everyday play and zip across the deck with a nice level of comfort.It also has much better ergonomics because it offers two incline settings and includes a wrist rest. That meant I was still able to get a good mouse swing in without sacrificing the number pad with a TKL board, or the spacing and extra functionality of a 60% or 65% model.

Logitech has designed the Romer-G to be a high performance mechanical gaming switch with faster and quieter actuation. Yes, you're sacrificing some of the features we may take for granted just four years after this deck's launch; onboard memory, wider programming options, and dedicated media controls, for example.The G513 Carbon features a nice anodized aluminum finish while the G513 Silver has a sleek classy and stunning look to it which I really like. They have a very short pre-travel distance and require very little force to actuate, making them feel responsive and light. You can customize the RGB backlighting and program your macros from here, and create unique profiles to suit your needs. This may be because blue LEDs require more voltage than red or green, and this is a known problem that isn't unique to this particular keyboard or the Romer-G switches it uses.
