But when she faces the one evil mastermind behind it all she realizes that maybe he isn't the only one she has to fear. Although this book may not make you want to go to the gym, it will transform the way you think about it, your body and your attitude to fitness. Reading this book will help you understand the destructiveness of perfectionism and will teach you how to accept your imperfect self in a culture that preys on your imperfections. My feeling about the book is that it’s not so much a portrait of two contrasting relationships, as a portrait of three people coming to terms with the idea of perfection in different ways.

One of the things I love about writing is the way you can use what you know and what you’ve experienced, without actually writing about yourself.

It takes some creative thinking on her part, but she is able to get away as she follows the vague clues the renegade was able to give her.Prior to that he was involved in preservation organizations and led an effort to create an urban rail-to-trail park in Dallas, Texas. Truly not an easy feat, as telling a story from this perspective has it's own difficulties (how do you get the personalities and emotions of the characters across if they cannot tell you about it through their own eyes? But, Curran explains, it doesn’t mean the poorer aren’t affected; they have higher to climb up the social ladder and have more obstacles to overcome (168-169).

The rather bleak landscape of Karakarook exerts considerable influence on your characters, and yet you choose main characters who have both come to the town from elsewhere. I don’t think I’m the only Australian who feels vaguely guilty about that, as if we’re all going along with a story that isn’t quite true. My other issue was with the main character but I don't want to add a spoiler so I will just say that there were times when she needed a slap or a bucket of water thrown on her to get her back into the character I really liked and respected. The world is interesting and I’d like to see more about what ordinary life is like, because our protagonists led very different lives, but both weren’t normal.I’ve given many of my experiences and perceptions to many of the characters in the book, but none of them is me. With platinum blonde hair, azure blue eyes, and a perfect body, she is the dream of what Hitler was imagining. I believe this is going to be a more prominent part of the story inthe sequel, and maybe we'll find out more about Woody, which will make him different from Rein, and maybe then I can pick a team.
