Description

The story is mainly about Maura and how she transformed from being an innocent girl to being one of the toughest criminals in England . To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. That you learnt how her relationships with her family were affected by her lifestyle, how her past experiences shaped her romantic relationships and how the choices she made sometimes didn’t turn out the way she hoped. I felt like reading it again just to see how many times she said the same thing, but I couldn't put myself through that again reading the same thing.

p>The data controller is Headline Publishing Group Limited. Once you’re hooked on Maura Ryan, be sure to read MAURA’S GAME , the second book from ‘the undisputed queen of crime writing’ ( Guardian). The oldest brother, Michael, is the patriarchal figure and controls their gangland activity in the city. On one hand the novel appears very pro-feminine state and it feels like it really wants to build that sense of ‘girl power’ in the 70’s.Our Adult Fiction Books, Range includes Classics Novels, Comic Books, Crime, Thriller, Mystery Novels, General Fiction, Horror, Romance, Science Fiction and War. Headed and dominated by their oldest brother, who is also unashamedly gay, their family cuts a swathe through London as their reach and power grows. Her mother was a psychiatric nurse from Glasnevin, County Dublin and her father was a merchant seaman from Cork City. When I was a teenager, but I still greatly think of this book and I'll never read it again, because I want to keep it perfect in my memory just as well as I keep Diogenes Alejandro Xenos (Dax) from Robbins' 'The Adventures' untouched in my childhood memories.

I remember when I was a young Harry Potter obsessed whippersnapper when my sister first purchased and read this book which would’ve been around 2004, which was unusual for my sister at that time.No one thinks a seventeen-year-old girl can take on the hard men of London’s gangland, but it’s a mistake to underestimate Maura Ryan: she’s tough, clever and beautiful – which makes her one very dangerous lady. Dangerous Lady absolutely zips along and the reader is drawn into a gripping crime story, a crime saga, dealing as it does with the Ryans, an East End criminal family, over a period of thirty years.

I had it in mind to muse on the fact that she is a best-selling author, that she certainly knows the world of crime and criminals and that she is without any doubt a compelling story teller. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. All finished an I've got to say that I have never related to anything as much as I had to the main character, Maura. I liked it, despite some minor flaws, like frequently ending a chapter with an exclamatory sentence, or an intentionally ominous line that crudely foreshadows to the reader exatly what we should expect next before it happens. If a refund is payable to you we will process the refund as soon as possible, and, in any case within fourteen (14) days. Seems an unconvincing tale, a bit too romantic and totally unconvincing, but that’s where she set off on her path to fame and the book was an instant best-seller. A stage version of Dangerous Lady opened at the Theatre Royal Stratford East, London, [2] her third to be presented at the Royal Stratford, to positive reviews.
