With my copy, though I encountered a sharp screech on more than 2 occasions in the first track alone. The few tracks that I played when it arrived sounded a but dull to me, despite the claimed re-master.

At least there’s a large catalog of recorded material to remind us of just how potent a force this band could be. Some of his listeners probably wouldn’t have understood him if he had because they didn’t speak English. If, on the other hand, you have just the original albums, this package may represent a smarter purchase than the earlier anthologies. Still, as Nelson says in liner notes for Live at Budokan, a new two-CD and DVD release of the show, “Music is a great communicator…[people] will hear it in whatever language they are listening. Overall, the record isn’t as engaging as the earlier releases, and a few tracks, including “Angelsea” and “Freezing Steel,” feel like filler.

Ces 6 CD sont bien sûr à avoir pour tous/toutes les fans invétéré(e)s du Mac qui cherchent à compléter leur collection.Même chose pour le Live de 1980 dont les titres bonus sont rigoureusement les mêmes que sur le coffret anniversaire sorti en 2021…Voilà donc un coffret qui n’apporte pas grand-chose au fan collectionneur quand même puisqu’il/elle possède déjà ces coffrets anniversaires. I can give them some credit I suppose as this is an old album and perhaps they didn't have the luxury of a brilliant recording to start. I dare say some people have had quality issues with copies of this album but I have yet to find an artist or label that doesn’t. Now, following the recent death of Christine McVie, who joined the band way back in 1970, those chances have dropped to zero. Given that most people probably don't need an "alternative" Rumours LP as they probably still have the original (which, as we all know, sold by the truckload), I think that sales of the ALT recordings would likely be limited to hardcore collectors (like myself)!
