Personally I love RUMOURS and TUSK, but there's just something about this live show that puts it all in perspective. I attended that concert back in July and the remaining 4 put on a great show, but I felt like there was something missing. Awesome to hear the Old tunes but even greater to see how the band has evolved into what was presented in this concert! To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

The album cover photo, taken by David LaChapelle, has Mick Fleetwood recreating his pose from the cover of Rumours, the band's most successful album, and Lindsey Buckingham holding the cane used on the cover of the Fleetwood Mac album, Rumours' predecessor. No need to put the same modest quality video TWICE on one disc, space would have been plenty for sound and less compressed, higher quality video ! The band later embarked on a 44-date tour across the United States with one stop in Canada in support of The Dance. The guitar playing of LB was astounding (much better than his voice) but the vocals of Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie were brilliant. Most of the others have either someone missing from the lineup or members appearing on stage and certainly not enjoying themselves as they do on this one. All have had their share of divorce, sex, drugs, and too much rock and roll or, was it the other way around?

The bass on 'The Chain' still makes stop whatever I'm doing, even after all these years, but the full version of 'Rhiannon' is fantastic, and what a surprise on 'Tusk' - just watch it! We will publish your review of Fleetwood Mac - The Dance [1997] on DVD within a few days as long as it meets our guidelines.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Fleetwood Mac's landmark Rumours album, band members: Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie, John McVie and Stevie Nicks have reunited for an MTV special, a national tour and a new album. During "You Make Loving Fun", Christine looks to the side at *somebody* and gets this smile on her face as she sings. It's also great to listen to the economy, but surprizing fill and power, of the notes just from Mick and John. I loved the dvd so much, I bought the cd to play in the car and to download onto my phone and Kindle, and the sound through headphones I would say is even better. They stayed on to play on Don't Stop, the first time the band had ever attempted the song with a brass section.
