Description

You weren't loyal to me. I was one of you. You may have forgotten, but I haven't. And it's why I'm going to give you what you never gave me: a chance." ―Hunter and Crosshair [18]

Clone Force 99 was named in remembrance of 99, a malformed maintenance duty clone who died while aiding the defense of Kamino from the Separatist invasion during the Clone Wars. [24] The unit originated as a batch of clones who were created with "desirable" genetic mutations that made them superior soldiers, [25] as a result of genetic manipulation. [26] These mutations also had the unique effect of altering their appearance and voice greatly compared to regular clone troopers. Each one of the members acquired certain abilities unique to the team. [25] Star Wars: The Bad Batch is an animated television series that acts as both a sequel to and a spin-off of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It focuses on the squad known as Clone Force 99, a band of genetically enhanced clone troopers. It was announced on July 13, 2020 and premiered on Disney+ on May 4, 2021. [1] The first season has sixteen episodes, [14] and its musical score was composed by Kevin Kiner, who previously worked on Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. [15] Clone Force 99, also known as the "Bad Batch," was created for the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series. It first appeared in the seventh season episode " The Bad Batch," [1] which was originally released in its unfinished form as a screening at Celebration Anaheim [38] and then on StarWars.com. [39] [40] Star Wars creator George Lucas came up with the idea of the Bad Batch, as he wanted to explore the idea that there were clones that were a little bit more unique from one another and who were like an enhanced skills special forces unit. [41] Gear up. We have to go after Muchi. If we don't capture her, we don't get our intel from Cid." ―Hunter [2] I suggest we use our transport; not the most luxurious ride in the galaxy, but it doesn't scream 'Republic' like the rest of these." ―Hunter in an unfinished version of "The Bad Batch" [25]And … that’s all the minifigs. If you’re caught up on The Clone Wars enough to be watching The Bad Batch as it airs, a key character is clearly missing from the minifig assortment: Omega. Five minifigs make sense for the price point, and of course, we would want all members of the original Clone Force 99, but the set feels incomplete without this new character. Conclusions & recommendation Star Wars: The Bad Batch crew talks season length, Omega and Imperial oppression by Keane, Sean on CNET ( May 3, 2021) (archived from the original on May 3, 2021) On May 29, Lucasfilm released the official trailer for the series' second season at the Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022. Experimental unit Clone Force 99, they're defective clones with, uh… desirable mutations." ― Clone Commander CC-2224 describes the Bad Batch — Listen ( file info) [1] The first episode of The Bad Batch premiered on Disney+ on May 4, 2021 with a 74-minute [22] premiere episode. The LEGO Group has been recreating iconic starships, vehicles, locations and characters from the Star Wars™ universe since 1999. LEGO Star Wars is now its most successful theme, with fun gift ideas for creative kids and fans of all ages. Obviously, the stars of this LEGO Star Wars set are the minifigures. Nevertheless, it’s fair to expect the main vehicle to reflect key exterior and interior details of the “real” vehicle, which this scaled-down version does not. The huge speeder bikes feel like they detract from the potential of the shuttle, rather than adding to the overall set. Take Star Trek Picard for example. I was really looking forward to that show, soaking up every bit of info and spoiler I could find beforehand. I went in to watching the episodes, knowing quite a few of the plot points already, but that actually enhanced my enjoyment of the episodes because I could concentrate more on the details and Easter eggs. Each member of the Bad Batch has a distinct personality and a unique set of armor. Also, despite the fact that they are clones, they each have unique facial features whether that be scars, face paint, goggles, tattoos, and even cybernetic implants. We wanted to make sure to capture all of these fun features in the minifigures, and we created a few new elements to help with that as well. Seeing Crosshair’s new set of armor for the first time made me very excited to watch the new Bad Batch series! I can’t wait to see how and why he gets it."
