Bring your favorite Monsters to life by coloring as you see them with an array of colorful palettes and textures. My Singing Monsters: Coloring Book, a brand new app that allows users to relax and explore the wonderful world of My Singing Monsters. Inspired by the creativity of the world wide My Singing Monsters community and their creative fan art, the new Coloring Book will give fans a fun way to explore the Monster World! Note that the list doesn't include Rares that share the same breeding combinations as their Common variants. When you already have a Monster and want to get more of the same Monster, there are different breeding combinations with higher chances of success that can be used. These combinations can also be used to get Rare variants more reliably. The best combination to use is the Monster you want + its Rare counterpart (Common + Rare), which results in the Monster 100% of the time. If a Monster’s rare variant is not available to you, there are other combinations that can be used. Quad + Single will result in a single 100% of the time. The normal combination for doubles (single + single) is also always guaranteed. For triples, the next best combination is Quad + Triple, which can infrequently result in an Ethereal or Quad.

Decorations mostly have no special effect, other than increasing a monster's happiness meter, but some decorations can either emit sound (e.g. Harpsitree) or have unique animations (e.g. Tub Fountain). Fire Monsters are a class of Monsters with the Fire element, but can also have one or more of the Natural elements that used to be apart of the Natural Monsters in My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire, but became their own group. The first of the Fire Monsters to appear in the original is the Kayna who is located on Tribal Island when the Fire element manifested, but it later Fire Haven was released as the first Fire Island. Structures, unlike decorations, have a defined purpose in the game, such as storing unwanted monsters or decorations. Some of them are essential for in-game progress and should be bought right away, such as the Breeding Structure. Triples are slightly harder to breed, and require a double element and single element Monster. For example, Quibble and Mammott can result in a Congle . Breeding combinations for triple element Monsters are not guaranteed, and thus can result in one of the parents instead. Scrapped Features, an article covering features that were planned for the game, but ended up scrapped.Decorations are purely cosmetic items which can be used to "spruce up" an island, making it more pleasing for players to watch. On all devices, My Singing Monsters uses up at least 300MB of hard drive space, and up to 500MB hard drive space can be used up by this application. As of Version 3.1.0, iOS 11 is required to play, removing support for iPhone 4, iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, iPad Mini 1, and iPad Generations 1 through 4. On Seasonal Shanty, Common Seasonals are always available to breed. They are divided into three types: Core Seasonals, being Punkleton, Yool, Schmoochle, Blabbit, and Hoola, Aux. Seasonals, being Gobbleygourd, Clavavera, Viveine, Carillong, Whiz-bang, Monculus, Ffidyll, Boo'qwurm, and Spurrit, and Seasonals, with just Jam Boree. The Core Seasonals cannot be bred without already having the Monster, so they must be teleported or bought. Each Aux. Seasonal, or Jam Boree, has a specific combination of two Core Seasonals. Typically, the combination contains the two Core Seasonals that the Aux. Seasonal/Seasonal is closest to. For example, Ffidyll is bred with Schmoochle and Blabbit, as Cloverspell occurs between these Seasonal Events. Celestial Island is the only Island to not use the typical Monster group names - Monsters are sorted through Young, Adults, and Elders, instead of Common, Rare, and Epic.

Boo'qwurm is one of only two Seasonal Monsters to occupy two beds, the other being Schmoochle. This may be due to the Monster's Bib'leos. Create an island full of Singing Monsters, then watch your song evolve as you breed and upgrade happy monster pets. Supernatural Monsters are a special class of Monsters that include Wubbox and the Wublins, all of which manifest one element, Electricity ( ). These Monsters are special in that they require Monsters to be activated. Wubbox are activated by boxing Natural/Fire Monsters into them, and Wublins are activated by Zapping Monster eggs into them. The Wubbox on Ethereal Island is part of the exclusive Superethereal class due to requiring Ethereal Monsters to be boxed in. Epic Monsters are even rarer versions of the Monsters found in My Singing Monsters, which can only be bred with 2 monsters, with the combination changing for each island. Single Element Ethereal Monsters must be bred from a Quad Element Natural Monster and a Triple Element Natural Monster. Double Element Ethereal Monsters are only found on Ethereal Island, where they can be bred from combinations of Single Element Ethereal Monsters transported from the Natural Islands to Ethereal Island. Adult Maw in DOF used the sprites of Maw from the original game, but still used its DOF idle animation.

You do not have to place a Monster to 'discover' it (excluding Wubbox) - simply hatching it will still add it to the Book of Monsters. Celestials, while still displayed gray, are grouped separately as Young, Adults and Elders, rather than all of them being grouped as Commons. On May 2020, My Singing Monsters won the Webby Awards 2020. Everyone who logged in on 22nd May 2020 received 10 diamonds. There is a list of which Monsters like what items on each island. There is also a list of which decorations are liked by each Monster. Boo'qwurm can either be teleported to Seasonal Shanty once fed to level 15, or bred with Schmoochle and Hoola. Boo'qwurm has a low coin production when compared to other Monsters.
