About this deal

Enjoy smooth motion and a delightful design on One UI. Optimised for any screen size, it lets you focus on what matters in a comfortable and intuitive way. One UI lets you customise your phone to perfectly suit your tastes and fully enjoy your comfortable Galaxy experience. The Galaxy A32 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 720 5G chipset along with 4GB of RAM. There’s 64GB of storage, with about 46GB available out of the box; if that’s not enough, you can add up to an additional terabyte of external storage with a microSD card.

They’re still hardly remarkable – this is unmistakeably a budget camera setup, and we’d have rather seen one or two better lenses than the four forgettable ones here, but performance is respectable in decent lighting conditions, and there’s also scope to record 4K video at 30fps. In addition to all of One UI’s customization features, Samsung includes a suite of productivity apps. For the most part, these apps are extraneous, since similar options are already baked into Android, but if you use Office 365 or just want to avoid Google apps, you'll appreciate the Samsung options.

FDD LTE B1(2100), B2(1900), B3(1800), B4(AWS), B5(850), B7(2600), B8(900), B12(700), B17(700), B20(800), B26(850), B28(700), B66(AWS-3) Network: The bandwidths supported by the device may vary depending on the region or service provider. You get a sizeable 6.5-inch 720 x 1600 screen on the Samsung Galaxy A32, with a pixel density of 270 pixels per inch. That’s a fairly basic spec but still reasonably sharp. The refresh rate is a standard 60Hz, and there aren’t any fancy extras like HDR10. I tested the phone with Genshin Impact, the most resource-intensive game in the Google Play Store, as well as the less processor-hungry Alto’s Odyssey. On Genshin Impact, I encountered long load times and a few crashes during an hour of gameplay. Alto’s Odyssey performed fine for the most part, though I noticed several skipped frames.

If you’re a casual gamer who plays Candy Crush on your morning commute, the Galaxy A32 5G will be just fine. Hardcore gamers, however, will find the phone to be a poor fit. If you’re shopping for an inexpensive gaming phone, your best bet is the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G. SM-A326B, SM-A326B/DS, SM-A326BR/DS, SM-A326BR, SM-A326U, SM-A326W, SM-A326U1, SM-A326K, SCG08, SM-S326DLConnectivity options include 5G of course, which really is the single biggest selling point of this phone, as it’s one of the cheapest handsets to offer 5G, which is all the more impressive as it comes from a name as big and trusted as Samsung. Beyond that, there’s also Bluetooth 5.0. Verdict

Samsung sells the Galaxy A32 5G both online and through AT&T and T-Mobile. The phone also works on Verizon and has solid LTE and sub-6GHz 5G band support.

Simple but Functional

Battery life also impresses, and it’s more powerful than you might expect. Elsewhere, it’s less impressive, but generally ‘good enough’ for the money. That’s true of the design, screen, and cameras. Audio Playing Format MP3, M4A, 3GA, AAC, OGG, OGA, WAV, AMR, AWB, FLAC, MID, MIDI, XMF, MXMF, IMY, RTTTL, RTX, OTA Portrait mode works surprisingly well on the Galaxy A32 5G. My test shots, with the default settings, had a natural-looking bokeh without any object mapping. If you prefer either more or less blur, there’s a slider in the app that allows you to make immediate adjustments. Portrait mode improves exponentially every year, and among current phones in this price range, the Galaxy A32 5G does an excellent job.

For low-light photos with the primary lens, the Galaxy A32 5G surpassed the Nord N200 5G. I noticed noise and some loss of fine detail in most of the test shots, but there was less blur and better color accuracy. Low-light photos with the ultra-wide lens on the Galaxy A32 5G are good for a budget phone, but you'll notice minor distortion and light flare. The Samsung Galaxy A32 5G is ultimately a phone that most people will be buying as a cheap way to get 5G. That’s its most notable aspect, and a significant selling point, but it’s not the only thing the Galaxy A32 5G has going for it.Still, that leaves you with a 48MP f/1.8 main camera and an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide one (with a 123-degree field of view) and these two are much more useful.
