About this deal

I enjoyed the sex tape plot and I enjoyed the few scenes with the Box Set which were not solely focused on Magnolia.

I also don't get how Julian fell sooo in love with Magnolia, like this 31 years old guy didn't love a girl in all his life but fell for a girl he kind of date for 3 months who keep telling him that she is in love with BJ (as she should) and that she thinks of BJ while she is having sex with him (as she should). Julian you deserve better.Magnolia aside, I didn‘t want to read about Julian falling in love. I liked this difference between Daisy and Julian regarding their love lives. And I just have to say… a meeting with the most dangerous men of the country in Julians house is unrealistic. Again, this shows that this whole book is based on Magnolia and Julian because what was the point of this scene? Correct, Julian falling in love with Magnolia. And where were the Lost Boys??? Where were Romeo and Carmelo??? Oh yes, Carmelo and the Boys were there to emphasize that Julian is so madly in love with Magnolia. Everything gets more complicated when beautiful, broken-hearted socialite Magnolia Parks enters the scene and Julian finds himself entangled with her. Because for Julian, falling in love isn't just unwelcome - it could be deadly for everyone involved . . . Readers love Magnolia Parks Universe I feel like Jessa Hastings had the beginning and the ending of the book and then just filled the rest with Magnolia and Julian. This book was supposed to be about Christian and Daisy’s relationship, and the aspects of it we’re shown in the book I liked, but I felt their time together was overshadowed by Julian and Magnolia. After finishing, I was left feeling like Christian and Daisy were afterthoughts or side characters, which makes no sense in a book carrying Daisy’s name.

I did really enjoy Daisy and Christian’s scenes, well.. some of them. Some of it was just so thrown together while it was clear Magnolia was the focus. The big love confession was filled with footnotes of what Magnolia was thinking.. like who gives a single f….about that? I did love the end scene at the hospital and it was the only scene that really felt like a progression from their first book and where I thought we’d be. I like what’s going on with his family. I liked the sex tape storyline but probably just because it was time on them and not other dead in the water stories. my love’s DaisyChris deserve a whole ESSAY for how adorable they were — or would’ve been if we had more content of them just being cute *gets a murderous glint in eyes* — ugh there were two iconic scenes in this book and I loved them! 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐩𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 😭💗✨🤌 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐰𝐨𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐭 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐜 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐨 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞. I don’t understand why we were given so less of themmm!! it breaks my heart at the injustice of it all 😩 Growing up, Daphne always knew Peter Pan would come for her. The way he'd come for her mother, and her grandmother and Wendy before that. The Darling girls. Their stories are all the same: the forever-young boy at their window after their thirteenth birthday, and the shimmering, magical land behind a star. Oh boy. I'm not even sure where to begin. This was one of my most anticipated releases and it's very upsetting when something doesn't live up to expectations. Truthfully, I started to get a bit nervous about this book once the "promo" for it started, but we will get there. Let's just dive in. Bear with me this is my first time writing a review. I had A LOT to say and this was the only format I could thing to get it all out.

I have to say I am too much of a MagnoliaBJ girl to enjoy the relationship between Magnolia and Julian. Unfortunately not 5 stars but let‘s rename it to Julian Haites and Magnolia Parks: The Great Undoing. Ok, I know I rated this higher it's because I did enjoy reading this even though it broke my heart into small pieces. I STILL LOVE IT. The only problem I have was that 50% (or even more) of this book was also based between Julian and Magnolia.

I hope Julian's feelings for Magnolia are like the feelings Christian had for Magnolia and he finds the true love of his life, he deserves to be happy. When Peter doesn't show for Daphne until she's seventeen, inexplicably full-grown and with no excuse for his tardiness, Daphne doesn't know what to think. Still, she has always been told that Peter Pan is her destiny. It's beyond choice to take his hand and leap into the stars, no matter what comes next.I could write a whole book on my feelings about Julian and Magnolia but I’ll try and keep it short. There was absolutely no reason for them to be in this book as much as they are. Julian and Magnolia were hooking up while she is in love with BJ. We know BJ and Magnolia are endgame, which makes this whole dragged out “Julian is in love with Magnolia” rhetoric both unnecessary and redundant. If the author wanted to do a “who will Magnolia end up with?” storyline, then she shouldn’t have given away the ending in MP2. Like I understand that we also have a Julian POV since he's also in the 2nd book and that Magnolia is a fav character in the mp universe but I somehow felt like their relationship takes over from this book more instead of Daisy and Christian. (since I didn’t read mp:tlwh cause I don’t like Magnolia and BJ that much so I didn’t know that some of what happened here was the same as from that book so that’s why I’m okay with it. probably if I read it, I would be a bit mad too) I liked the daisies and magnolias deliveries but where is the rest of the crime world? Where is Christians work? THE BRAND NEW NOVEL IN THE MAGNOLIA PARKS UNIVERSE FROM BOOKTOK ROMANCE SENSATION JESSA HASTINGS. "It's the great undoing of my heart as I know it."

This book has Daisy‘s name on its title but I feel like I‘ve read Magnolia and Julian‘s book and Daisy and Christian were side characters.

I was so disappointed because I hoped and expected to be taken in by their story again and I was dead wrong. Too much Tiller for too long and I have to say.. didn’t know she hadn’t confirmed Daisy and Christian as end game. That makes me even more pissed off because Magnolia is having an entire live story play out with Julian and yet we know it’s pointless, but we have to wait YEARS to find out if Daisy and Christian make it? I would just guess yes, but the way she hates anyone other than Magnolia and BJ makes me wonder if she won’t just ruin them too so she has characters to hurt and emotions to manipulate readers. I honestly never would have thought that there‘d be a book in this series I‘d give less than 5 stars… and the book being (supposedly) Daisy and Christian’s is sad to me because I absolutely adore them and I was so looking forward to it. although daisy was a btec magnolia in her last book, i actually enjoyed her quite a lot here. and christian makes her so much more likable as well. thats bae <3. wouldn’t say i fell in love with her like i hoped i would, but i did warm to her and that’s a start. shes much better written in this book (less mental instability). and her povs are also so much better when you don’t open those despicable footnotes. You will fall in love with Daisy Haites a million times over and be desperate for more of her story when it ends.' (FIVE STARS)
