About this deal

Scout was all too happy to share with his brothers and behaviourally unhinged with her which lent itself to the best s3x scenes. Oh goodness I laughed so hard with their antics. They gave me so much delight. They also have the story some lightheartedness. Gah! Poor Della! I just wanted to wrap her up and hide her away. The absolute wtf about the cards dealt to her just broke my heart. In the second half, Landry and Della finally meet all three of the triplets. I loved the way they melted for her, taking revenge over things that shouldn’t have happened.

I enjoyed this book a lot more than book 1. I really liked Landry in this book, she definitely came out of her shell once she got away from the one holding her life in his hands! Kept me in Suspense needing answers to certain things! A definitely enjoyable read and the spice was nice as well. Also they should have been begging and grovelling at her feet for duping her but there was little drama surrounding that whole issue. Roles are reversed as this exciting and intense story developed and evolves. Sully, Sparrow, and Scout are three terrifying twisted kinky brothers, yet, with Landry and Della they redeem themselves in ways I never imagined.

Webster’s Cinderella Trilogy completely captivated me, so I was eager to read her Deception Duet and it exceeded my expectations. This explosive dark romance was filled with secrets, steamy scenes, along with twists and turns to keep you reading until the very end! Reverse harem being one of my most read themes of dark romance, I expected these two books to be good but I honestly caught no head or tail. I couldn’t feel the chemistry between them and it felt too draggy to read sometimes although the book itself was not long. They were supposed to be a family but I was more confused about their family dynamics then their actual connection. As always with Webster's books, this duet took me for a wild ride. There was no figuring things out in advance. There were surprises at every point when I could have thought that I was on top of the plot. I had my heart shredded more than once and I was left aching with a massive book hangover but I don't regret a second of it. I understand this is collection of the two books in the series. What I didn’t know was that it was connected to a bigger series and it didn’t help the confusion at all. The book had a great storyline, it was romantic, super steamy, and I liked the fact that in this storyline the Mannford brothers were the “good” guys and Winston Constantine wasn’t. It shows how everything has two sides and that being a villain in someone else’s story doesn’t always mean a character has to be a villain in their own.

I don't know what it was about Landry but she felt so young to me. I liked her fierceness but she felt like a teenager rather than a grown women. I couldn't shake it. Another item for the plus column was how scorching hot this book was. Now that the secret was out of the bag about there being three guys instead of one, the reverse harem aspect was taken advantage of to its fullest extent (if you know, you know). Lots of Oh, wow. Holy crap moments. It was sightly messed up, but in the most enjoyably delicious way. I read these two stories individually when they released in January and March earlier this year and once again earlier this month as a boxset. Nothing changed for me in how I felt about the storyline and its unfolding so I’m not going to re-write my thoughts. I’ll just simply copy/paste for your convenience. My heart was absolutely broken for Landry. She’s smart, intelligent, and fierce, yet so utterly broken. While she may appear to have everything she could ever want from the outside, all she truly desired was for her and Della to be safe from the abuse they endured at the hands of their father. I had a hard time stomaching some of the dialogue with their father and found myself thankful that despite Della still knowing what was happening, she thankfully couldn’t hear most of the cruel words said to her. I loved how protective Landry was of her and was so grateful that they had each other when all else failed. The build up, the suspense and the outcome of this journey, made this story irresistibly delicious! I loved that this book was told in multiple POV's. Sully, Sparrow and Scout each had a role to play and they played it great. I felt so bad for Landry, she did not have it easy and I still have questions regarding her father but I'm sure we will get these in book 2. OMG. I swear this duet is one of the best duets by this author. I have been going crazy for these triplets ever since I read them in the Cinderella trilogy but nothing could have prepared me for the marvelous way K. Webster has written them in their books. Book 2 starts right after book 1 ends and ITS good! I love all three of the boys, in book 1 Sparrow was my favourite but I have a big soft spot in my heart for Scout 😍 For Sully, Sparrow and Scout, live has never been the same the minute the Constantines destroyed their future. It doesn’t help that they are also related to the Morellis making them collateral damage when it comes to being in the middle of the both powerful families. When their lives changed, Bryant Morelli, used that opportunity to make the triplets work for him. They might have everything, except for their freedom. Until they are given a task that they can’t refuse, to get close to reclusive heiress Landry Croft and get what they’ve always wanted in return. A task that should have been simple turns out to be so much more the minute they get to know Landry. She is different than they thought she would be and that makes her very desirable for the three brothers. They soon find out what Landry has been though and they vow to protect her no matter what.

I love that she put both halves into one omnibus, where you can just continue reading without having to pause to pull the second book out. The transition between the two books is seamless and flows like honey. I think the omnibus gives the book what it’s really needed.

Death Wish is the second and final book in the Deception Duet series. This book should be read after Triple Threat as this book starts off right where that book ends. This book is told from multiple points of view from Landry, Sully, Sparrow, and Scout. Overall, I recommend this duet to all of my dark romance lovers. This duet will take you on quite a ride. The heroine(s): Landry Croft - she was being abused by her father and wanted to protect her deaf little sister so she and her sister ran away. She thought she was running to a friend, but instead ran straight into the hands of the Mannford brothers.

All our lives, we’ve fought over the same girls, but we’ve never really put any real effort into sharing them. Until now.” I laughed, cried, was happy, was sad but through it all I still had faith and hope in the triplets. Death Wish exceeded all of my expectations, and they weren't low after Triple Threat. The conclusion to the Deception Duet was thrilling, heartbreaking and adorably sweet. I loved watching Landry fall for the Terror Triplets. My life is perfect. It has to be because he designed it that way. I am just one shiny part in the Croft world–glittering like spun gold for all to see. And they will. It’s why I exist. To be a trophy displayed to the world. Beautiful, polite, intelligent, poised, elegant. I am everything he demands I be. Never do I argue or resist his impossible demands.” This book was a fantastic conclusion to this storyline, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys dark, steamy, and a whole lot of crazy. The triplets, along with the one woman who might be able to tame them, will worm their way into your heart and go from terrible to terrific... okay, maybe not terrific... But you'll adore them! When this landed on my Kindle, I couldn't wait to get started. I reread Triple Threat and thought I was prepared... I wasn't prepared. This book was an emotional rollercoaster for me. I was rooting for the good guys who were also the bad guys... I became bloodthirsty for vengeance, enraged by Della and Landry's predicament, and laughed at Heathen and Della's antics! My emotions were all over the place.
