Character Filibuster: If you die to Mr. Hippo in Ultimate Custom Night, he'll go off on a long monologue about nothing in particular. These can go on for up to four minutes. And no, you can't skip them. Even if you shut off the game on a monologue, on reboot it will open up to another one.

Lefty has a nearly identical color scheme to Nightmare from Five Nights at Freddy's 4, except the red and yellow colors are swapped in placement (Nightmare has red eyes with yellow accessories, while Lefty has a yellow eye with red accessories). Finally confirmed on December 5th, Lena Hill tweeted that she was the actual voice actor for Lefty rather than Stephanie. Judging by his design in Pizzeria Simulator, it seems that Springtrap retrofitted Fredbear's parts into himself (and changing his name to Scraptrap in the process) before the events of the game, so there is that. Righty does not appear in Special Delivery. However, the game has a unique feature; you can customize your own animatronic of your own making! Laughably Evil: Downplayed, but it's possible for any of them to get into the building before their salvage minigame. If that happens, there is a winking dummy with a note reading "No one is here. (I'm already inside.)" in their place . Try to imagine William of all characters going to that level of effort. Skippable Boss: You don't have to salvage any of them, in fact, nor do you have to buy any props that might allow them to sneak in. Dissonant Serenity: Mr. Hippo laments the player's death if he catches them, but he also mentions that he doesn't feel too bad about it since, had it not been him it would have just been somebody else, also stating that life goes on (except for yours, considering you're dead). He then goes into a monologue about nothing in particular. These animatronics could each represent ◊ a different masked child from 3's "Happiest Day" minigame, with the exception of Nedd Bear (he is yellow-brown; a completely different color from the remaining child, whose mask is a blue Palette Swap of the mask corresponding to Pigpatch). Secret dialogue from a number of the Melodies suggests they too were victims of Afton's murders. When looking out of Freddy's eyes in the cinematic after Night 4, The Marionette appears in front of Freddy, staying near the player's face as they look around, possibly hinting that The Puppet was somehow around at the second restaurant.

In The Completion Ending, Lefty is the only animatronic who isn't seen burning from the Salvageable Animatronics. In the Ultimate Custom Night, he only appears when you attempt to use the Death Coin on Golden Freddy when his AI is set at 1. He appears in the default office for Ultimate Custom Night, albeit deactivated (though he will activate for short periods of time here and there, spouting off a random blurb from one of his stories). Evil Brit: Played with, as, while his Creepy Monotone is in a British accent, he's not an evil animatronic, and he gives out candy. That said, horror stories with Downer Endings aren't really the best stories to tell children. The closest he would come to being evil would be when he was going to be one of the hostile animatronics for Ultimate Custom Night before being removed, but of course, given who the protagonist of that was, he couldn't be considered evil. Staring Down Cthulhu: One of the gameplay types involves sitting in a room with one of them, and observing, and documenting, their behavior to audio stimuli.

Non-Standard Character Design: Unlike the other animatronics, who are in worse shape than they've ever been before, Lefty is in mint condition aside from its eye. This is because it was created fairly recently by Cassette Man.
