ILLUSTRATIONS: The illustrations are big, soft and colorful making them perfect for the youngest viewers. Arthur's cuteness factor is a 10 out of 10! REVIEW: After reading I Want My Mommy, I was so excited when this second book finally came out. I may have even liked it a bit more than the first book. I can't decide! I loved watching the close relationship between father and son. Arthur's dad, instead of putting him down for his failures, lifts him up and shows him ways to be successful. Arthur's dad takes time to play with him, but also spends time getting his own work done. I love the part in the beginning where they say, "Knights together?" "Knights forever!" and at the end where they say, "Hugs together?" "Hugs forever!" This is a wonderful warm and fuzzy story for dad and son to read together. We can all applaud the fatherly care and consideration shown to young Arthur in this warm-hearted story for the very young." Source: Jill R Bennett

People have also used the trend to share their lust for Matthew McConaughey, Channing Tatum and Cillian Murphy. So where does the ‘I want your daddy too’ TikTok audio come from? The adorable illustrations make the story that bit more charming, filled with suggestions of playful activities families – in particular fathers – can share with their child/children. A keeper and one for the reread shelf without a doubt." Source: Nayu's Reading Corner

Over the next few weeks, things settle into a busy and stressful rhythm, as Casey and Mike try to contain the explosive behaviours of this out-of-control, angry child. On one occasion, in nursery, and for seemingly no reason, he takes two of the class goldfish out of their tank and crushes them both in his hands. Why Casey asks him why, he can only tell her that he ‘gets thunder and lightning’ in his tummy.

SUMMARY: In this sequel to I Want My Mommy, Arthur is spending the day at home with his dad. Arthur tries to build a castle by himself, but things are not working out well. He calls for his dad who comes and shows Arthur how to build a castle that will be strong enough to play in. Arthur plays by himself for a little while until he falls and calls for his dad. Dad comes and tells him it's okay. The two then go to the park and play together on the play castle at the playground. When they return home, Arthur makes a crown for his dad because "Every knight needed a king for his castle." He presents his crown and gets a tight hug in return. Casey and Mike agree to take Ethan and within days Casey realises just how troubled the boy is. Lost and bewildered, he regularly wakes screaming for his mum in the night, and seems more like a toddler than a five year old. But at least there is a family support worker to take him to see his grandmother twice weekly and a social worker to drive him to visit his dad in prison every other Sunday - something he’s a been doing for just over a year. However people on TikTok have taken the quotes and turned them into a lust based desire rather than murder, which is much healthier for everyone. It's not all bad news, however. Christine tells Casey this is only to be a short placement, as the grandparents have at least agreed to be formally assessed, with a view to perhaps fostering him long term. There is also a father in the picture. He sees Ethan regularly, but from prison, where he still has a year left to serve.
