About this deal

I suspect the certificate error may be connected to my changing the LAN IP from 192.168.8.1 to 192.168.0.1 as that's when I first noticed the problem. But there’s more than just speed here, asthe Huawei B535 supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands. This is another fairly standard thing in routers, but not always found in 4G ones, especially older models. Features and software The Huawei B535 does not have a WLAN extender function, i.e. the use of an existing WLAN as Internet access. There is also no WLAN timer.

Here’s where things get a bit more complicated, as while the Huawei B535 WebBox is a good performer by 4G router standards, it’s no match for a 5G router or many wired connections. And the actual speeds you get will in large part depend on your coverage. The Huawei B535-333 is a fast, reliable 4G+ router from Huawei featuring two SMA-female antenna connections, for use with an external antenna. While it's not the fastest model Huawei offers, it is highly reliable and can achieve speeds as high as 400Mb/s. The new router Huawei 4G Router 3 Pro (Huawei B535-232) was available in European countries for a few months, which is integrated LTE Cat7 modem and allows speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s in the downlink. As we introducted before, Huawei B535 router has many predecessor such as the Huawei B618 or the Huawei B818, which can provide much faster link speeds, but they also cost a lot more expensive than Huawei B535. So that the maximum LTE speed also reaches the connected end devices, a fast WLAN module is of course required. The Huawei B535 supports WLAN ac at 2.4 GHz with up to 300 Mbit/s and at 5 GHz with up to 867 Mbit/s. In the test, the 867 Mbit/s could also be reached up to 5 meters by line of sight. With slight caveats (see below), an iPad connected directly to the B535's wifi (not via the USG) does have internet connectivity. It’s one of two 4G home broadband devices available from the network at the time of writing, but with the other (the Huawei AI Cube) also being a smart speaker, this will likely be the default device for many buyers.

Anyways, I kinda lost interest, I hardly use my mobile phone at all, {except to lookup the time of my bus} so am not so very miffed by not getting Buy the B535-333 4G Router to easily create a 4G Internet service for multiple PC’s with high speed 4G connectivity. The Huawei B535 4G Router 3 Pro also offers the option of connecting an external cellular antenna. The effect of a 4G LTE outdoor antenna was not tested separately in the test. If the external antenna is not automatically recognized, you can manually switch to the external antenna in the web interface.Unfortunately, neither the app nor the web interface offer the option of displaying detailed information about the Internet connection, such as the frequency band used, the antenna technology used or the CA status. There are also no such settings, for example to set the router to a specific frequency band. The LTE router models from AVM, for example the FRITZ! Box 6820 LTE offers significantly better equipment in this area. After all, there is the possibility to use “only 3G” or “only 4G”. The Huawei B535 does not support GSM / 2G anyway. The Three 5G Hub is sure to be more expensive, but there you’re getting even higher speeds if you have the coverage. Conclusion That’s not bad, but you’ll still need a SIM card and allowances to go with it, meaning there will be a monthly price too. Our best selling antenna that is commonly used with the Huawei B535 router is the Fullband MIMORAD and if you need a slightly higher gain antenna then the Fullband FBXPMIMO antenna has cross-polarized antennas inside the housing which will provide an optimised signal reception. photos maximum, each photo's size should be less than 10MB (bmp, jpg, png, gif, and jpeg are supported)

EDIT: Although I guess a free home line would be good if only for the odd occasion that you want to call British Gas (or similar), where you spend 20 mins listening to Einer kleiner Nacht musik before arguing for 10 minutes, comparing costs to PAYG voice charges. I have to say, it really depends on what your purpose is, these are basic routers built to a price for carriers. For me, on my 4Mbit ADSL, a 20MB 3G connection is quite an improvement. I wondered if devices connected to the 333 were working ok on EE without the connection to the USG, to get an idea if there's a problem with the EE SIM / APN in isolation. My 333 will not work on 4G with a Lebara (Vodafone) SIM, but it works fine on 3G. With an iD Mobile SIM, both 3G & 4G work without issue. All things considered, the Huawei B535 is a very solid 4G home broadband router. If that’s all you’re after then it’s competitive with devices from EE and Vodafone, but no match for the new Three 4G Hub.

The design of the Huawei B535 WebBoxis nothing to get excited about, but that’s ok. Its plain white build will disappear neatly into almost any home. Most people don’t want their routers to stand out, and this one certainly doesn’t, even compared to the newer Three 5G Hub. The Huawei B535 - also known as the Three 4G Hub or the Huawei HomeFi Plus - is a 4G home broadband router, which, as well as being able to buy SIM-free from some stores, you can also get on contract from Three. Beyond these, the most obvious alternative is fibre broadband. This is potentially faster (depending on what’s available where you are), but setup is more time consuming and typically requires an engineer visit. You also typically need a landline, which can add to the cost. Plans As such, the WebBox won’t look out of place in most homes, and at 219 x 130 x 15mm it won’t take up too much space either. SetupTheir assumption is simply that a connecting client should implement which, in my case (and perhaps any scenario with a second router) requires CLAT to operate in the 4G modem/router -- which the B535-333 should do .... but only in IPv6-only mode. To sign up for the activity, xxxxx EXP will be taken from your account (current EXP: xxxxxx). Continue? One of the joys of 4G routers is that they’re usually incredibly easy to set up, as is the case with the Huawei B535 / Huawei HomeFi Plus.
