Swing the lower legs over the thighs. Connect the cage pieces together and connect the tabs in the front of the arms into the slots on the lower legs. This mode features all the same plastic colors as the robot mode with blue making up most of the vehicle and silver making up a large chunk o the middle. The seats are painted gunmetal grey and the sides of the wheels are painted silver. Using the PVC plastic for the wheels was a great choice. The figure feels great rolling along my desk with the PVC actually gripping the smooth surface. Beachcomber was present in the strike team Primus brought to bear against the Powered Masters in an expedition to the year 2050 of the next universe to capture its newly formed, empty Silver Matrix for his patsy Star Convoy. Now having a look a the vehicle mode. The Dune Buggy mode kind of doesn't look really close to an actual Dune Buggy. However, the Transformation is pretty easy. Plus the tires are rubber (Wonder if they can do rubber tires for future projects).Beachcomber was introduced in 1985 as one of the Autobots stationed on Earth. He was quite unusual as he was a pacifist who preferred not to fight and instead commune with nature (which fit into his duties as a geologist). Over the years, he has had a few action figures made post- G1 including one in Generation 2, then later in Universe 2.0 and more recently in Power of the Primes . This is the first time he has been made into a Deluxe Class figure.

In a completely different sequence of events, Beachcomber decided to try and infiltrate the Decepticons’ headquarters on his own. Though he was able to activate the fortress's main doors, upon hearing nearby human voices he hesitated on whether he should proceed within the fortress or investigate the voices first.EPIC MODES: Transformers action figure converts from robot to tank mode in 23 steps. He also includes a small " Paradise Parakeet", seemingly inspired by the bird Beachcomber encountered in the episode " The Golden Lagoon". It sits on a blast effect-style post, allowing it plug into 5mm ports or over 3mm pegs throughout both of Beachcomber's modes. Said bird also gets top billing, and is named alongside Beachcomber himself on the box. Its name is likely a reference to the paradise parrot, which went extinct nearly 100 years ago, giving Beachcomber something else to be sad about. When the Minibots excavated a mysterious mech, Beachcomber was astute enough to recognize the Predacon symbol may have been descendant from the Decepticon sigil. Henkei!
