About this deal

My theories are ABOUND and the connections I’ve been making in the time since finishing are off the charts. This space is spoiler free, but I can’t wait until we can discuss things more fully

And all that aside, now that I think about it who would be well suited and best person except for danika on the finale cover?? The sole reason and the key to most of the things that happend in CC books?? Yeah, I wouldn't think anyone else should be there🌝 stars. If I am being objective, it was not as good as the first one, but I am clearly biased when it comes to SJM books. 😬🤷‍♀️ Let’s talk about Ruhn for a bit. Not only does Ruhn have some of the Starborn powers but he also can mindspeak which is similar to the Daemati power. However, the shadows that he has are extremely similar to the shadow slinger powers that Azriel has. Could there have been a Shadow Slinger in his line somewhere? Since he looks like Rhysand is there a relation somewhere in Rhysands mother’s side between Ruhn and Rhys? I can’t wait to reread this. I’ve been in a trance for over a week (the time I’ve spent reading this book) and I don’t want to wake up. Honestly, I waited for this book for so long and am slightly conflicted with how I feel about this story as a whole. I have never rated a SJM novel this low before. I was sometimes forcing myself to read it - like it was some university homework . But I also liked how she took this series to an entire new level- I can tell there was a lot of research done.Update 9 march 2023: oh oh, so we finally got the RELEASE DATE Y'ALL. you heard me. It's really happening in 2024😭😭 it's a relief to know even not sure (which actually i think it's the real date) aproximatly how many days we will have this in our hand. 🤩🤩 nothing is ever explained. here i was thinking that this took place in only one city?? i don’t understand anything. there are a bunch of random terms and things thrown in here to make a plot and they are never explained whatsoever. sjm continually has to explain what’s going on to us because i don’t think she understands her own story all that well, but half of the things she mentions aren’t ever explained and i’m just left here to fend for myself. While these are my theories I am completely ready for SJM to throw us for a complete loop with new twists. I often have a hard time predicting where her stories are going so I may be completely wrong in everything here. I still can’t wait to see what happens.

If Aelin does show up, it'll be brief. (As I said, she's tired, she's not here to fight) But if she does, I really just want her, Bryce and Cassian to interact because the chaos and badassery they would bring would be unmatched. the hind x the viper queen (LISTEN i know these two have probably never met but IMAGINE THE TENSION) However, recently Sarah J Maas made a statement along the lines of a new Crescent City book coming before the new ACOTAR book and it has a lot of fans reeling wondering what’s going to happen. We also have a possible release date for this book sometime in 2023.

Second, if we don't get an Avengers level team up in this book I'm suing for getting my hopes up. That ending killed and then revived me and I don't know how I'm going to wait for this. Since we know that The Autumn King has fire power I think it’s likely that there is a relation somewhere with the Autumn Court and Lord Baron. Which could also explain why he is the way he is in personality. Additionally it’s revealed that angels and archangels are also fae. Could the angels be Seraphim (from Creta in ACOTAR) or Peregryn from Dawn court? Both these species of fae have white feathers; however, Peregryn are described as having six feathered wings. I have to confess that this is my favourite book over two series, this and the Court of Thorns and Roses. However, we have not seen his power anywhere other than Rowan from Throne of Glass. So is it possible that his mother is from Throne of Glass and a Whitethorn descendant and his father is a Peregryn descendant from ACOTAR?

We’re excited to confirm that we will be creating matching editions of the rest of the books in the series as they come! They change, the adapt, they live, they die... but they never leave you. People drift. It's human nature to move on, change and grow. But our favorite characters are always right there on a bad day. A good one. A weird one. A sad one. By now I’m sure we’ve all seen the news for special editions. Everyone is excited for the Adriel, Nesta and Bryce chapter so clearly Walmart is the move right? Everyone is happy. And excited. And that’s fine and dandy. literally everyone in the group of cormac, tharion, ithan, ruhn, hunt (except for cormac and ruhn obviously because they’re cousins) I honestly believe we are going to have an SJM style Avengers crossover event. I wouldn’t be surprised if we somehow end up in Erilea (TOG) where Rhys and Bryce gather more Fae to fight against the Astari. We are beyond thrilled to officially present to you… the ‘Crescent City’ Exclusive Editions, brought to you in collaboration with @therealsjmaas and @bloomsburypublishing! The ending. The ENDING. The whole reason I needed to really take time to think about everything in this book. Because what a disaster. I’m gonna go into spoilers for the ending for the next two paragraphs so skip if you don’t want that!! The quote I pointed out, doesn't it just come to embody this series as a whole? We don't know how much time we have with the people we love, so why not make the most of every single moment we do have? House of Earth and Blood contains shifters, humans, witches, and ordinary animals; these may have all hailed from the Throne of Glass series.

For ‘Love and other words’ ⭐⭐⭐⭐ There is no shortage of passion between the main characters. What I loved about this part of the story was Bryce standing up for her right to choose her own ‘mate’ against her fathers wishes. Even better when she achieved this in such a clever way that blindsided everyone around her, including her father. So we have a definitive answer that the worlds are connected through gates and I have a lot of theories on this. The Gates This is part of why I believe that Sarah J Maas had plans to connect worlds between her books all those years ago when she released Kingdom of Ash. Hunt Athalar has found himself in some deep holes in his life, but this one might be the deepest of all. After a few brief months with everything he ever wanted, he's in the Asteri's dungeons again, stripped of his freedom and without a clue as to Bryce's fate. He's desperate to help her, but until he can escape the Asteri's leash, his hands are quite literally tied. and i love that she owns her sexuality but it’s kinda gross seeing all these male povs talk about how hot she is etc etc it just feels very male gaze-y and we don’t like objectification of women)The characters were mostly good still. But…it was very male-centred for most of the book. I would’ve liked to see Bryce interacting with Fury and Juniper more. And at some points, the men’s personalities all just kind of blended together.
