When using before planting or sowing apply Blood Fish & Bone at 140g/m² and lightly fork or rake into the soil. When using this product as a top dressing apply at 70g/m² and lightly fork into the soil.

Fish, Blood & Bone meal strengthens garden plants, lawns, fruits and vegetables. Fish, Blood & Bone cannot be taken up by the plants unless transformed (mineralisation) by bacteria from its organic state into an inorganic one. Mineralisation happens only when the conditions in the soil are right. It depends very much on the temperature of the soil, the water content, the pH, the amount of organic material, the time of application and the carbon in the soil. Ideally, 70 to 140 g per square metre should be added for most plants, less required for leafy crops such as lettuce. Please note that dogs are attracted to the smell of fish, blood and done, so they will dig around your garden if they detect it. Try to keep dogs away from the product, as you do not want holes in your garden or your containers turned over, making a mess. WHAT IS GROWMORE? This does not equate to an NPK ratio of 7:7:7 but actually converts to NPK of 7:3.8:5.8, so it is not a totally balanced fertiliser that some make it out to be.
