The hood is refined, features a three-way buried toggle adjustment system, flexible brim, and is helmet compatible with a hood roll tab for storing. It easily fit over a mountain bike helmet in recent testing, and we were able to efficiently store it away on the ride down to avoid excessive flapping. Sustainability & Durability If after receipt of your claim form the product needs to be returned to us, we will provide a pre-paid return label or arrange collection for larger / heavier items, customer services will let you know how to proceed.

Constructed from Pertex Shield, a soft, 2.5-layer fabric with a recycled face fabric, and a fluorocarbon free DWR finish. By the end of our testing, we felt the Rab Downpour Plus 2.0 would be an excellent value for some, and not so great for others.

The regular cut of the Downpour worked well for a wide variety of tasks. It wasn’t so trim as to limit layering, but wasn’t so baggy that it limited mobility. Then there are the perks in the details: a brushed tricot chin guard to soothe those that sport stubble, and an articulated fabric cut in the arms that prevents the hem from rising when reaching overhead.

Here’s my thoughts: An essential mountain focused feature set with updated styling make this a classic waterproof for a technically savvy mountain hiker. Waterproofing is provided by Pertex Shield 2.5 Layer with a recycled face with a fluorocarbon free DWR. Timescale to deal with your claim - for technical faults or repairs we use the services of the original manufacturer or nominated agent for inspection, testing and high quality guaranteed repairs. Please allow a reasonable timescale for completion of this process, customer services can advise further as this does vary between products.
