The one word that Tom Fletcher has used repeatedly to describe his second novel in the lead up to its release is ‘disgusting‘, and I have to say I completely agree with him (in a good way! We started it at the beginning of the summer holidays and didn't read it much and then read the Christmasaurs also by Tom Fletcher. but kids will absolutely love delving into the Creakers’ lair, squirming and shrieking with laughter!I was thrilled by the cameo from William and Brenda, but I wanted to hear more from them and maybe even Bob and Pamela too. Monsters under the bed are acknowledged as scary but the warm and humorous narrator of the story who introduces each chapter will make more nervous children feel they are in safe hands – and (spoiler alert) it all works out well in the end. The Christmasaurus is currently being developed by The Greatest Showman director Michael Gracey into an animated, feature-length movie with original songs written by Tom.

Story encompasses so many facets of life that the children will encounter in certain degrees and it held their attention making them excited for more. I'm quite sure there would be others as well - and it would have been interesting to see their take on how to solve the problem.
