I can see why they named it "Rebel" - but for those of you who still perceive yourselves as falling in line, this is not so "out there" that it is too provocative to wear. Far Away Gold : Ok....take away that interfering note explosion from Far Away....and what's left is...Far Away Gold. The Gold version is smoother....and now the evil notes from Far Away go "underneath a little,but NOT enough to rescue this scent....another...NO !!!

Not everyone is going to see it as I do but, smelling this again after over ten years just dug up extraordinary feelings I've left behind as a child and forgotten.I've been looking for a more affordable 'dark and moody' cherry based fragrance for everyday use for a while and Beyond The Moon is smoothing my impulse to reach for [Kayali] LOVEFEST every other day. I'm not saying that the two fragrances are overly similar or anything like that, however there are some characterisics here that are a bit reminiscent; the not too sweet fruits, a few of the florals are the same and the patchouli to toughen the blend up is a bit familiar. Could be classed as suitable for every season, but the heady florals appeal to me more the autumn & winter months. As it settles, the amber, musk, and a bit of the sandalwood really show themselves to be the support of the scent, and this, along with the sweet vanilla, is what takes it from a tropical beach scent to a warm, cozy all-weather scent. It's not a typical scent I wear. I mean, this is a HEAVY, powdery, vanilla/sandalwood/amber floriental. It's so many things and doesn't apologise for it.

You're having a drink of crème de cassis in a garden full of freesia flowers and orange blossom, and you can smell some chocolate flavored with toffee syrup that comes from a coffee shop nearby. Keep all that balanced. The main protagonist is the crème de cassis. Far Away sensual, sexy, warm, woodsy, cozy, vanilla/sandalwood incense type perfume that men go crazy for and women compliment. It really must have some type of magnetic, alluring, sexy type draw for men and women like the smell also. At first it gives a burst of sweet candied cherry but very synthetic one. After some time it gets softer and more pleasant but sweet not in the vanillic way... Sometimes when I sniffed my hand I thought it's very mature scent but It dried down very much like Attraction One Intense - very peppery and this moment is the most interesting.

It’s quite light and inoffensive in its projection and sillage - doesn’t overpower you at all, seems quite subtle on first spray, not intoxicating alcohol like many of the Avon fragrances blast open with. It doesn’t actually smell like an Avon perfume at all. The sweet note is pretty decent in longevity, however. You do need to spray quite generously to get it to last, but as it’s not headache inducing and overpowering when you spray, you can douse to your hearts content!After about 4 hours of time, the fragrance becomes pungent, with dirty lines, but at the same time tender, due to the orange blossoms which, when in excess, easily manage to refer to this indole sensation, but nothing that cannot be tolerated. Right here, the engagement between Vanilla (rustic) and Musk is noticeable; something sublime unfolds here. I have always found difficult to describe fragrances, but I'm trying to do my best here so you can have an idea of what you'll get (if you blind buy) or test if you're curious: Far Away is hitting a sweet spot where it is a milder, more easy to wear formula than some of the 80's and 90's super strong heavy hitter fragrances. (It is not as heavy as some of the heavy hitter fragrances like Youth Dew, Cinnabar, Coco Channel, Paloma, Knowing, Opium, Elizabeth Taylor's Passion).

Far Away is probably my most complimented perfume. It's in my top 5 of all time it shares a 2nd spot in my collection with Far Away Gold. A huge love for me.
