Is YSL Y EDP Worth It? Fresh, warm, and woody. The opening is a blend of ginger, apple, and bergamot. From opening to dry-down, the scent stays quite similar. Woody and aromatic , the original Eau de Parfum opens with fresh notes of bergamot and ginger enhanced by juicy green apple for powerful freshness.

On top of the outstanding smell is YSL Y EDP’s fantastic performance. On the skin, it lasts 8 – 10 hours with above-average and consistent projection. At the base, a mysterious blend of sensual wood and frankincense is uncovered, reinforced by smokey vetiver for intensity. Therefore I think it would be better not to give an evaluation if it is not possible to evaluate objectively. The fragrance process is very simple and linear which I rather see as an advantage with this fragrance. What is sprayed and perceived in the morning remains exactly the same throughout the day and does not develop into something completely different in the course of the day. Both YSL Y EDP and Versace Eros project really strongly after you wear them. As they both used premium notes, you can be sure about getting excellent projection and longevity from these colognes.YSL Y EDP and Versace Eros both are loud fragrances. And no one can guarantee you the versatility of party fragrances. Above all, this fragrance is not seasonal, like many others. Spring, summer, winter... you can wear it anytime.

The bottle looks pretty on the shelf, looks noble and is also well processed. I found a form where you could get a free sample of the EDP from YSL. Of course I wore one for free. My expectations weren't that high. I think the EDT is solid, but for me it is one of many, also because of bad performance and for this fragrance also a little overpriced. Otherwise just a pale scent that doesn't flash me. Both of these fragrances are popular and versatile. And it’s really tough to call for a winner here. Y EDP also seems to be a fragrance that the community here has a high regard for due to its mainstream suitability. But it does not open up to me at all.The bulk of the base is amber wood and tonka bean. Both fuse to create a slight sweetness, though the amber wood really shines. It is velvety and warm while giving a slight ambroxan/woodsy feel. By the way, you can use YSL Y EDP in spring, summer and fall. It’s a day-night fragrance. And you can use Versace Eros in spring, winter and fall in the nighttime. The bottle is really an eye-catcher with a beautiful colour gradient. Very nobly processed and fits beautifully into every collection.
